Alister Cameron on Carrington

Alister Cameron has a nice video talking about what he sees as the win with the Carrington CMS theme framework.

He obviously “gets it” – we need to do a better job evangelizing and providing examples. We’re working on it – would love to have community contributions around this as well.

  1. Thanks for the link, Alex. Much appreciated.

I am working on a theme “framework” (a term I really don’t like, but anyway…) called Vanilla, and it includes Carrington Core inside it, because, well, Carrington rocks!

I appreciate the way you’ve structured things to cleanly, kept the code lean, and avoided a lot of the extra fluff other theme developers insist on adding in.

Carrington Blog is a beautiful theme, of course, but I applaud your wisdom in keeping “core” to itself. Very smart.
